Setzkorn Health & Wealth Consulting has an extensive social responsibility programme which aims to assists those in need.

Over the past five years they were involved in providing food parcels to the learners at St Leo’s Catholic School in Molweni. ‘’The children were given meals during the school week but the parish were concerned about their lack of food over the weekends. We assisted with food parcels which were handed out to the children on Friday afternoons. This ensured that they had balanced and nutritious meals on a Saturday and Sunday and returned to school, ready to learn and grow,’’ explains Greg Setzkorn, Managing Member of Setzkorn Health & Wealth Consulting.

On an annual basis, they support the KZN Blind & Deaf Society through their ‘Talk Sign’ campaign. The aim of the campaign is to promote sign language and raise money, through the sale of Talk Sign stickers, to assist with the education and job placement of people who are Deaf. The Ethembeni School for the Disabled is also a priority for the Consultancy and, for the past four years, Setzkorn Health & Wealth have sponsored the gift for the Grade Seven graduates. The aim for 2015 is to provide walkers to the Ethembeni pupils who are in desperate need of them.

Setzkorn Health & Wealth also plays a significant role in the Guild of St Mary’s Old Girls Fundraising events which raise money to pay for bursaries to the school, as well as supporting a non-profit organisation. The benefitting charities have included The Sunflower Fund, The Jes Foord Foundation and CHOC.
